Yesterday the RH varsity baseball team went to Drexel for a double header! The Tigers won the first game with a score of 12-0. Then they played the second game and won that one as well, 18-3! Overall the Tigers had a great night. Riley Cameron hit 2 out of the park home runs and Josh Robb had a Grand Slam! Their next game is Thursday at Bronaugh.
Saturday, April 27th was an exciting day for the members of the junior and senior class at RHHS as they prepared for the prom. Couples in their formal attire could be seen around town during the afternoon until the prom attendees gathered at the school to prepare for the prom promenade at 4:30. Pictured below are some photos of the couples as they made a trip around the gymnasium to let family and friends admire them in their finery. Around 5:00 p.m. the buses departed and headed towards Blue Springs where the dinner and dance were being held at the Lee Andrews Hall. Couples climbed back on the buses at around 11:30 pm and made the trip back to Rich Hill where the parents of the juniors were waiting to welcome them to the after prom party.

Last Thursday the RH varsity and JV teams went to Archie to face the Whirlwinds! The varsity team won their game 3-1 and JV lost theirs. Their overall record now is 8 wins and 2 losses. With the current record it looks like the Tigers have a good chance at making 1st in districts! Keep it up! Here is a short list of games to come:
Monday April 29; V/JV baseball and softball @ Drexel
Thursday May 2; Baseball and softball @ Bronaugh

The Rich Hill FBLA traveled to Columbia Sunday, April ??. During their time in Columbia they stayed at the Hampton Inn. After checking in on Sunday the group spent the beginning hours at the Columbia Mall spending as they please. They ate at Buffalo Wild Wings afterwards before heading to the actual competition to watch the intro for state, and to watch the campaign speeches for the candidates of state officers. After the day was over fun was had at the Hampton Pool and workout rooms!
On Monday the group dined at Shakespeare’s Pizza then proceeded to the main FBLA building for Michaela Norbury’s competition. Michaela placed 10th in Intro to Business Communications. Another mall trip shortly followed before the real fun at the state FBLA dance began. Two hours of nonstop dancing and partying finally ended and Rich Hill headed back to the hotel for a good nights rest.
