FCCLA hosted a Halloween Costume Contest today. To participate in the contest you had to bring three non-perishable food items that will be donated to a local food pantry. A lot of students participated and it was very much a success!
Club Day is tomorrow. Don’t be lazy and miss it from all the candy you eat! Here is the schedule:
The Rich Hill Lady Tigers played their last volleyball game of the entire season Tuesday night at the District Volleyball Tournament against the Hume Hornets. In the regular season, the Tigers beat the Hornets in 2 games. However, Tuesday night the Hornets put up a better fight and beat the Lady Tigers in 3 games. The Tigers won the first game easily but the Hornets came back and won the last 2 games.
Hume went on to the championship against the Liberal Bulldogs. Liberal won first place in the championship, Hume walked away with second.
End of season honors went to Ashlyn Kithcart who received all district and all conference first team.
The FBLA haunted house was a success this past weekend. 163 people were brave enough to venture through the haunted rooms full of creepy clowns, terrifying zombies, hospital patients, crazy butchers, werewolves, and one Dirty Ted (played by Trevor Delozier)
The event raised over 600 dollars. Mrs. Bruce, the FBLA sponser, says that the profit will be saved for other FBLA spendings.
The students that participated would like to thank the Norbury family for all the hard work and the time they put into helping to make the haunted house a “scary” success.
