Can’t make it to the district basketball game between the Rich Hill Tigers and the Skyline Tigers tonight??? Listen to the action at the link below on prepcast.
Angie — one of our school cooks — unfortunately has breast cancer and will be going in to have surgery on March 12th. We will be doing several fundraisers to help her, and her family, pay for expenses.
One of the fundraisers will be ordering t-shirts (see below). The district will be wearing the t-shirts on March 11th to show Angie out support before her surgery.
To place an order for delivery before the 11th, please give your payment and size to Mrs. Breckenridge by Monday, March 3rd. The shirts will be $12 per shirt. She will be placing several orders if you are unable to pay by Monday. Thank you in advance for your support!

The Class 2 District 13 basketball committee has decided to change the championship game time on Saturday to 2pm for girls and 3:30pm for boys. It has been changed due to the possibility of bad weather Saturday night. Please spread the word. The bracket has also been updated on the MSHSAA website for this time change.
The Rich Hill Science Olympiad teams (B and C) have both qualified for state in Columbia this year. The teams will be staying the night at a hotel the night before competition and are having a bake sale to help pay for costs. The bake sale will be held Saturday March 8th at the Rich Hill Food Fair. The bake sale will be from 9am-12pm. Come and pick up a tasty treat and help out our local “Olympians” at the same time.
Parents and/or students are asked to provide at least 3 baked items and to help set up at 8:30 am. There will need to be 2 kids signed up to work the sale for every hour.

The Rich Hill Tigers boys team opened the district tournament up against the Adrian Blackhawks last night at Osceola. The tigers came out flat in the first quarter allowing Adrian to take a quick lead. The tigers fought back and were able to take the lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter wasn’t much better as the tigers only extended their lead to 8 at the end of the half.
The third quarter however was completely different as the tigers scored 30 points in the third quarter alone. This extended the lead 20. The tigers lengthened that lead by 5 by the end of the game. The final score was 80-55. The Rich Hill Tigers will play the Skyline Tigers in the Semi-Finals of the tournament Thursday at 6:00 P.M
