Tigers Headed to the Championship

The Varsity Boys punched their ticket to the Championship game with a 73-48 win over the Midway Vikings. The Tigers jumped out to a quick 8-2 lead by forcing the Vikings into several quick turnovers with full court pressure. At the end of the 1st quarter Rich Hill led the Midway by a score of 17-10. The second quarter saw the pace of the game slow down tremendously which allowed Midway back into the game. Midway closed the gap with a strong 2nd quarter. The Halftime score was 28-25 Rich Hill.

The Tigers jumped all over the Vikings with a tenacious full court press at the beginning of the 3rd quarter to pull away and extend their lead to 23 points at the end of the 3rd quarter. The benches cleared in the 4th quarter as the Tigers coasted to a 73-48 win. Rich Hill plays Metro Academy out of Kansas City in the championship game @ 7:00 P.M. Saturday night. The players would appreciate your support at the game.
