Area VII of the Missouri FFA organization had their annual banquet and meeting Tuesday evening in Clinton, MO. Mr. Brian Gillis is the Rich Hill FFA Adviser and he had several students from Rich Hill who were recognized for their accomplishments in the organization.
Prior to the banquet there were several contests held. Rich Hill had a team competing in the FFA Knowledge event. Those students were freshmen Jamison Ogburn, Nate Kithcart, Crystal Hillier, and Michael Scrivener.
Following the banquet individuals were recognized for various achievements. The first on the program were those receiving Area Proficiency Awards.
3rd place – Jacob Mumma – Beef Production
1st Place – Mackenzie Yarick – Diversified Crop Production – Entrepreneurship
2nd Place – Allison Taylor – Forage Production
2nd Place – Breanna Buesing – Vegetable Production
Receiving Area FFA Degrees were Rich Hill seniors Riley Cameron, Trevor Delozier, Hayley Klinksick, Jacob Rapp, and Madison Wheatley.
Recognized as the Area Star Farmer was Rich Hill senior Jacob Rapp.
