The Rich Hill Tigers defeated the Cole Camp Blue Jays on December 29th at the WK shootout in Sedalia, MO. The win moved the Tigers record to 9-0 on the season. The Tigers started off the night slow which allowed Cole Camp to jump out to an early lead. At the end of the first quarter the Tigers trailed 12-10. The second quarter was a different story for the Tigers. They played much better defense which allowed for their offense to get rolling. They outscored the Blue Jays 19-7 in the second quarter and turned a 2 point deficit into a 10 point lead at the half. The second half was back and forth with both teams making runs. At one point the Tigers extended their lead to 24 points. However, the Blue Jays were able to make a small comeback in the fourth quarter to make the final score 64-48.
The Tigers play Lutheran Monday night, January 4th. The varsity girls game starts at 6 followed by the varsity boys.
