The Rich Hill High School class of 2016 held Baccalaureate Services yesterday evening at the United Methodist Church in Rich Hill. United Methodist Pastor Tommy Freeman welcomed the class and their guests and then class president Renae Clark offered the invocation.
Senior Erica Diehl shared her musical talent singing, “The House that Built Me.” Andrew Schmitt introduced the speakers for the evening; his grandfather Pastor Carl Covey from Sweetwater Tabernacle. As part of his message he stressed to the graduates that what is important in their lives will not be the “stuff” that they accumulate in their lives but the people around them.
The class gathered after the service to greet their guests and accept congratulations on their upcoming graduation.
