Wins Over Hume

Last night the Rich Hill Lady Tigers renewed their old rivallry with the Lady Hornets from Hume. It was evident early in the game that both teams were eager to hold the bragging right about this game. In the first quarter both teams were going to push the ball up and down the court and keep pressure on the the other to keep up offensively. At the end of one it was RH 16 Hume 14. In the second quarter the mad pace continued with probably a too little defense but plenty of offense and at the half the Lady Tigers held a slim 32-28 lead. The second half RH decided that theyneeded to play both ends of the floor and tightened up their defense and kept the offense going strong and we able to outscore the Hornets 17-4 in the three quarter. Score RH 49-32. The last quarter saw both teams trade basket for basket  and the final score was 61-44. The Lady Tigers improved to 6-2 for the season and will be off until December 22 at Bronaugh. That night games will start at 4:30 and with the JV girls first, followed by JV boys, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys. There will also be a game during Christmas break on Dec. 28 th in Sedalia at 6 PM against Cole Camp at State Fair Community College.

In the first game of the evening the Lady JV Tigers defeated the Lady Hornets 18-7

The Rich Hill Varsity Boys finished the evening with a victory as well.  The boys were able to maintain a decisive lead throughout the game with every player seeing time on the floor.
