Community Businesses – Looking for Your Input

Dear Business Owner and/or Organization,

The Rich Hill School District is proud to be part of a community that is supportive of both our needs and the needs of others. This type of support would not be present if not for groups such as yours.

Each year, the Rich Hill School Board approves a Community and School Improvement Plan (CSIP) that has been developed by teachers and administrators. In an effort to give back to our generous community, the district has decided to add a school and community wide day of service to our CSIP. This day of service will take place on Thursday, April 26th, 2018 and will include all students and staff members K-12. We hope to reach as many community members as possible by serving Rich Hill businesses and organizations.

Included with this letter is a short survey. If you wish to participate, we ask that you would fill out the survey in regard to the specific needs of your business or organization. Tasks listed on the survey have been approved for student completion; however, if you have a need that is not listed, please feel free to request it for approval. The results of the survey will allow us to assign students to jobs most appropriate for their age and skill level. You may also access this survey at: https://goo.gl/forms/ZUcMneKaxv1CBrFC2. Please keep in mind that the business/organization will be responsible for providing supplies such as landscaping materials and paint. A limited number of tools, such as rakes and trash bags, will be available to volunteers. Our volunteer time will also be limited to 2-3 hours. Additional information will be distributed as soon as plans are finalized.

On behalf of the Rich Hill School District, we would like to thank you for your continued support of our students and staff. We look forward to serving your needs and to teaching our students the act of service through this opportunity.
